The site is flexible allowing you to set up your account to match how you go about purchasing consumables in your organisation, and, including control over the products that an individual delivery point is allowed to order and the budget allocated to it to control expenditure and reduce cost leakage.

By using order forms which can be build based on your ordering history, or custom product list, ordering is a quick and painless affair; you can also track the progress of your order at every stage from creation to delivery.

My Cherwell Online app

The My Cherwell Online mobile app, available from the iTunes app store for Apple iPhone and iPad, the Google Play Store for Android phones and tablets, and from the Windows Phone store is the perfect companion for users of My Cherwell Online who are always on the go. Quick and easy to use the app provides access to all of your accounts, order forms, and orders placed are subject to the same and budget limits you may have already setup. This is an ideal solution for contract cleaners, facilities managers, and any user who may not be desk based but still needs to place orders.

The app requires your account to be setup for ordering via My Cherwell Online so contact customer services or your account handler, then head on over to your app store on your tablet or mobile device and search for ‘My Cherwell Online’ and follow your devices instructions.

Direct data transfer

If you want  to send purchase orders directly from your own purchase order processing system, we are able to receive and process data files in most popular data file formats, such as text, CSV, JSON, or XML.

We can offer a high degree of customisation for such solutions, including receipting of files received and return of invoices in an electronic format.

Marketplace systems

If you operate a marketplace procurement model, in which you place orders on your suppliers via a hosted third party application, we are easily able to provide you with full support.

This support includes the provision of full product catalogue details, including both text details and images, with regular scheduled catalogue updates and electronic receipt/acknowledge of purchase orders placed.

Punchout systems

We have optimised My Cherwell Online to integrate seamlessly with your punchout application, should you run this type of procurement model in your organisation, in which your supplier’s website product catalogue is directly and transparently accessed from within your own back office purchase order system.

The design of My Cherwell Online allows our product brochure to be enhanced as required, to meet the specific catalogue requirements of your punchout software. Communication between your punchout software and Cherwell’s back office order system can be facilitated in a number of formats (typically XML), so that relevant information about the purchase order transaction is delivered to the appropriate channels.

Electronic order form

For organisations who require a simple order method, our proprietary Order Form (written in Excel) provides the most straightforward of methods to place your order. Simply fill in your order requirement in a pre-formatted order form and e-mail or fax it to us as you prefer.

The Excel Order Form simply lists your products and prices, provides a facility to enter the product quantity required, and calculates your total order value. Save to your desktop or folder location of your choice.

All Order Forms are specifically developed for your organisation and are available in the following options:

  • Listing products by product category.
  • Multi-site/department, incorporating your organisation’s delivery points.
